THE DOORS - MILLER BLUES BAND - HAJI BABA - April 14 & 15, 1967 at the Avalon Ballroom - Second Printing Concert Poster - 13 63/64" x 19 63/64" - This poster is FD-57-RP-2 in the Family Dog series of Concert Posters, assigned this number by Eric King in his well known collector's guidebook (see mainpage of this website for link to his site) - One of Victor Moscoso's hallmark psychedelic / dance concert artworks! - The second printing was printed a year or two after the concert, before 1970 - This copy was in a frame at one point, so it has an extremely light aging in the surface of the paper which is noticeable at the border margin edge, which is slightly brighter yellow color at the very edge of the left side and along the top portion of the yellow border which surrounds the central imagery (quite difficult to notice until you look VERY closely at an angle, easily matted out since it's in the yellow border area) - Upper right hand corner and upper left hand corner of backside have a small amount of white mounting tape along with some very light toning visible on the backside in a few spots (does not affect the front side at all) - 1" wrinkle at lower left corner (visible on very close inspection only since it does not flake color at all) and 5/16" clean bend at upper right corner (no color flaking here either, only visible up close) - Pristine B+/A- to B+ condition - Inquire for Current Price / Availability

THE DOORS - MILLER BLUES BAND - DAILY FLASH - June 1-4, 1967 at Avalon Ballroom -First Printing Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster - FD-64-OP-1 in the Family Dog concert poster series - 13 63/64" x 20" - Features Victor Moscoso's famed Psychedelic Cat / OP Art image in electric pink, green and blue colors - Light wear from being rolled at one point, lower right corner dinged a tiny bit, 1/4" clean rip at bottom center of the edge, 3/4" vertical wrinkle/bend at top edge flakes tiny bits of color which forms a difficult to notice "hairline" bend, upper right and upper left corners are a tiny bit softened by wear, a couple of bends in the image area are extremely difficult to detect except when looking closely at the right angle (more easily seen from the back side) - Will look beautiful as is framed! - Getting Even Rarer these days - Pristine B+ Condition - Inquire for Availability & Current Price

THE DOORS - ALLMEN JOY - GINGERBRED BLU - Dec 29-31, 1967 at the Denver Family Dog - Second (?  may turn out to be a first if the debate is ever conclusively settled) Printing concert poster - 12 5/8" x 21 49/64" (slight variations in size exist) - This is loosely considered to be a second printing poster since it has a black background behind the Family Dog logo at upper left corner, possibly printed shortly following the concert dates, though could have been produced prior to the concert - It is an authorized printing in any case - FD-D18-?P-2 in the Family Dog Denver concert poster series, meaning that noted expert & author, Eric King, in his "COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO THE PSYCHEDELIC ROCK CONCERT POSTERS, POSTCARDS & HANDBILLS 1965 TO 1973" (10th Edition) has yet to arrive at a conclusion regarding whether this is a true first printing, printed prior to the concert date in late 1967, or a second authorized printing produced after the concert date - Features the whimsical Rick Griffin "Pay Attention" space bug leaning through a slot in space, definitely one of Rick Griffin's most devastating psychedelic dance concert artworks of the 60's! - Pristine A/A-Condition - Inquire for Availability & Current Price

THE DOORS - THE SOFT PARADE - EKS-75005 STEREO - 1969 - Original issue LP, white label Radio Station Copy - Promotional Copy - Gatefold cover with high contrast black and white photo of each member on one side of the white paper record sleeve inside, lyrics printed in black on reverse side of white paper -  sleeve - Gatefold cover has some ring wear on the front and back side (full color double wide gatefold interior illustration  has minor ring wear at the top and bottom edges, as well as side edges, showing some white where color should be) - LP record sleeve has a clean rip along the bottom edge where the LP has cut through, only minor handling & aging wear otherwise - LP seems to be in pristine condition, though I'll have to play it all the way through to be certain - Quite Rare as a white label Radio Station Copy - Inquire for Availability & Current Price

THE ROCKET #137 - March 1991 - Tabloid printed on newsprint & published in Seattle Washington at The Rocket Towers - 11 1/2" x 13 3/4" - 44 pages - Front cover in full color by P. Bagge features caricature of R. Crumb playing banjo whilst sitting, imagining a dressed woman's derriere in a a thought balloon, yellow background with red "THE ROCKET" lettering above, with caption "...Still Truckin' After All These Years!" - Rest of the newspaper is printed in black and white - Also features two page spread with large R. Crumb reprint (?) illustration covering multiple columns width top to bottom "How D'ya Shut This Goddamn Thing Off???
